EmmaLou and Jay

This shoot was just so "them." Jay didn't even know we were doing the pictures until we surprised him in the field of turnip greens they had planted with camera in tow! (See the mud boot photos)
We had a lot of fun, got muddy, got splashed by their dog Gus as he jumped in the creek and enjoyed a crisp winter day laughing and hanging out! Enjoy!

Stacey, Lola, Austin and Emmanuel

Stacey Dash, Lola and family

Last Friday we had a great session with Stacey Dash, her husband Emmanuel, her son Austin and daughter Lola. We were lucky with the weather because it looked like the clouds were going to set in- but we lucked out! This was part two of two very beautiful families' sessions....

The Makings of a Rock Star!

Just a couple more- we finished our shoot during Julian's bath- which he just loved. I believe he is going to grow up to be a rock star because he kept on using the faucet like a microphone!

Sweet Julian

This is one sweet little boy! We truly had the best time doing this shoot- Julian was so cooperative and seemed to love having his picture taken!

More Details!

Here are a few more photographs from Casey and Zack's wedding weekend.

Details, Details!

Casey and Zack were married this weekend in St. Helena, California. It was a beautiful weekend in the wine country for a stunningly beautiful couple. The ceremony took place at the St. Helena Catholic Church and the reception started at the Culinary Institute of America's Herb Garden Terrace and ended in the Greystone Restaurant. Casey has impeccable taste and is an absolute sweetheart! I am posting a few details from the wedding here... Congratulations!!!!!

Portrait Sessions!

Just did a really fun Bridal Portrait Session with Bridgette! It is great to be in the studio with good music and such a beautiful girl! I love that this session was so full of personality and so fresh! It is always fun to push the envelope just a little and get a little off the beaten portrait track!

Love is in the Air!

Wow! It's been a busy couple of weeks!!! Between numerous photo shoots, my own wedding and a delicious honeymoon in Mexico- I am just now having time for a breather! Whew!! Todd and I had a wonderful outdoor wedding filled with music, family and friends, as well as scrumptious Southern Soul Food!! We had some fantastic folks who helped make our wedding wonderful and I definitely want to give shout outs.... For music we had Austin, Texas' own Heybale! and John Pointer www.heybale.com and www.johnpointer.com We also had San Francisco's DJ David Carvallo www.myspace.com/davidcarvalho and Jon Korty of Vinyl www.vinylgroove.com
Sidney from Santa Barbara Barbecue Company www.sbbbq.com made a southern feast that tasted like I was back home in Kentucky! I also worked with the fellas at nghbr again in Boulder, Colorado for a wedding stationery suite that was one of the most talked about components! I will take some photographs and post soon so you can all see their handiwork!!! For photography I had my friend and photographer extraordinaire- Jose Villa! www.josevilla.com We had a great time and of course I am so excited to get the photographs back! We also had Jose's colleague Joel Serrato of www.joelserratofilms.com who did our super 8 film! In a nutshell, it was an amazing weekend with so many talented people and loving friends and family making it a memory of a lifetime!!

So, in addition to the wedding, I did manage some of my own work- however, I can barely call it work because these folks were so much fun!! Have a look... and be sure to check back soon!
